About the Studio
Our story is one of slow beginnings, thoughtful growth, and a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of paper and ink.
2018 - The Beginning
It started with a simple love for paper and a desire to create something beautiful. What began as a small hobby—making cards for friends and family—slowly grew into something more. We discovered letterpress printing, fell in love with the process, and knew we had found our calling.
2019 - Finding Our Voice
We spent a year experimenting, learning, and refining our style. We developed our aesthetic—soft colors, gentle designs, and a focus on quality over quantity. This was when we truly understood what we wanted to create: pieces that feel personal, thoughtful, and made with care.
2020 - Opening the Studio
We opened our first small studio space, a cozy room filled with paper, ink, and our vintage letterpress. This was when we began taking custom orders and building relationships with clients who appreciated our slow, careful approach to design and printing.
2021 - Expanding Our Offerings
As our skills grew, so did our product range. We added custom stationery, art prints, and small-batch notebooks to our collection. Each new product was developed with the same care and attention to detail that defined our cards.
2022 - Building Community
We began connecting with other makers, paper enthusiasts, and stationery lovers. Our studio became a place where people could learn about traditional printing, appreciate quality paper, and discover the joy of handwritten correspondence.
2023 - Sustainable Practices
We made a commitment to sustainability, sourcing eco-friendly papers and working with suppliers who share our values. We also began offering paper recycling programs and using sustainable packaging for our products.
2024 - Today
We continue to grow slowly and thoughtfully. Our studio is still small, our batches are still limited, and our focus remains on quality and intention. We're grateful for every card we print, every custom order we complete, and every connection we make through our work.
Our Values
Slow Design
We believe in taking time. Rushing leads to mistakes, and mistakes lead to waste. Our slow approach allows us to consider each design carefully, test thoroughly, and create pieces that we're proud to put our name on.
Quality Over Quantity
We work in small batches because it allows us to maintain quality. Every piece is checked, every color is considered, and every detail matters. We'd rather create fewer pieces of higher quality than many pieces that don't meet our standards.
Sustainability
We care about the impact of our work. We source sustainable papers, use eco-friendly inks when possible, and minimize waste in our production process. We believe beautiful things can also be responsible.
Personal Connection
We're a small team, and we like it that way. It allows us to know our clients, understand their needs, and create personal connections through our work. Every custom order is a collaboration, and every piece tells a story.
Traditional Craftsmanship
We honor traditional printing methods while embracing modern design. Our letterpress, foil stamping, and embossing techniques connect us to a long history of paper craft, while our designs reflect contemporary aesthetics and sensibilities.
Our Studio Space
A Place of Creativity
Our studio is more than just a workspace—it's a sanctuary for creativity. Every corner is filled with inspiration, from the vintage letterpress that anchors the room to the carefully organized paper samples that line the walls.
Natural light floods through the windows, creating the perfect environment for color matching and quality checks. The space is designed to be both functional and calming, allowing us to work with focus and intention.
We believe that the environment in which we create directly influences the quality of our work. That's why we've carefully curated our studio to be a place where beauty and craftsmanship come together naturally.
